My top 10 favorite things

1. starting "real life" with Lindsey
2. my family
3. summer
4. caliche's
5. my bikes
6. green chili cheeseburgers
7. getting a magazine in the mail
8. triathlons
9. "daddy" days
10. a Coke after a good workout

So it's April already and things are going great training wise. I keep a log of everything I do because I enjoy seeing my progression towards my goals. Now that March finished I was happy to see that I have doubled and tripled my hours from January for the months of February and March respectively. April has always been a good month for me for whatever reason, maybe because of my birthday and I'm trying to fight the inevitable, but I know I can increase my training hours agan this month. It has sometimes been difficult but this last week I was able to wake up at 5 am twice and get a decent workout in before the day starts. It's good to get it in before the day starts and to see and feel the improvements happening. Thanks for checking in.

So we bought another camera. This one however is different from our other camera in the fact that it is totally waterproof! It is an Olympus Stylus 8MP digital camera and it is capable of being submerged up to 10 feet. It can take photos and movies underwater, which is awesome as we have a daughter who not only loves the camera but can spend 2 hours in the pool before she wants to get out. She really is a little fish. She knows how to swim freestyle, backstroke and breastroke and can dive from the board and flip from the side. She can even dive down to the bottom of the pool in the shallow 3 foot section to get dive rings. She's awesome!
We spent the weekend in Alamogordo at Grandma Burns house. Emma loves the camera and here are a few shots of her being silly in the backyard. On that last one I had asked her to give me her "angry" face. It cracks me up, she is so silly. She really likes the one where she's jumping.

Here are some pictures from one of our rides during TriFest in Tucson, AZ over the weekend. Friday we rode halfway up Mt. Lemmon for a total of 4 hours and on Sunday we rode for another 2 hours. Good riding and great weather in Tucson!
