So Yesterday, Emma came to me and said...."Want to know the bad news?"...."It is raining in Albuquerque. " Of course I asked where she heard that at and she said the TV:))

But Today....We have good news! This comes in light of starting the summer off with having to Pay taxes this year, having to replace our rear window of our Yukon, and just the other day, my main Diamond came out of my wedding ring and is now lost. So the good news is I got one of my school loans completely forgiven!! But most of you thought it was something else:) But this was a nice surprise. I put in for it last year and did not get it. This year however, Steven worked hard for me and took care of it himself. He did all the paper work to get the loan forgiven...a nice payment we now do not have to worry about...Thanks Steven.

Summer Fun! Emma loves swimming in the new swimming pool at her Nana's house. She has really become quite the swimmer. She practices using her arms like a "Triathlete" . She is really independent and does not want to be held much in the pool. This is the first time she has kept her goggles on the whole time.

Happy Father's Day....

To My Loving Husband,

The Fruit of the Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Gentleness...

You are all these things and more. You're everything a wonderful husband and father should be-you are a blessing to our family. I love watching you with Emma...teaching her how to Laugh, to be silly, and how to love. We love you very much-Thank you babe for all your love and support.

Two words that always bring Dad to mind...Love and Thanks. When a daughter grows up feeling as protected and cherished as we did, she's bound to love her dad with all her heart...and we do. Happy Father's Day, on behalf of all of us.

Empty Handed

That's pretty much how I've ended up the last 2 weekends of racing.  Milkman was today and I had a good swim and a good bike, but my run was not there... at all.  I finished in 1:11 on a really windy and slow day.  I was 4th in my age group and 16th overall.  My goals heading in were to make the top 10 overall and podium in my age group.  Ah well, I am looking forward to the next 6 weeks of just consistent and focused training.  I am going to really target my running speed, running strength and ability to run off the bike.  Stay tuned.
